Welcome to the Ballard Industrial website and online catalog. On this page you will find answers to many questions you may have about registering, browsing inventory, and placing orders as well as how to use the many features included in your online account.

Like our site, this guide is new, but we will be adding to it and improving it over time. If you don't find an answer to your question here, please contact us . Not only will you be helping yourself by asking, but you'll also be helping us so we can better assist and inform other customers going forward.

Account Management


Registration is easy and just requires some basic contact information from you to get started. Once you're registered and log in, you can add billing, shipping and additional contact details. You can also add multiple shipping addresses and even multiple users to your account (see the Multi-User Accounts section below).

New customers are welcome to register and checkout on the website without contacting us to set up a store account first. Just place your order or request a quote and a sales rep will be in contact with you to work out the details.


The website allows customers to manage multiple purchasers under a single corporate account rather than having each member of the purchasing team on their own separate accounts. There are three user role types with varying levels of permissions.

User Roles Defined

General User - Can create a shopping cart and submit the cart for approval but cannot checkout themselves.

Authorized User - Can create shopping carts, checkout their own orders, and approve/checkout carts for General Users assigned to them.

Super User - Has all the privileges granted to an Authorized User, plus can add and manage other users. This role is automatically assigned to the user who creates the account.


You can add and manage multiple shipping addresses under the same account. If you go to the Account Dashboard and select the Address tab, you will see your billing and primary shipping addresses at the top of the page. At the bottom will be a list of all your shipping addresses. To edit or add shipping info, select the edit icon beside your primary shipping address. On the following User Information page you will also be able to update your Billing Address which defaults to your contact info when you register for the account.

To make checkout faster, a Super User can navigate to the Manage Users page, select a user (including themselves) to edit then assign shipping locations which will appear in a drop down menu on the checkout page. Selecting an address from the drop down will auto fill the corresponding shipping and contact info into the form. By default your primary shipping address will be loaded when you access the checkout form, but this feature makes it quicker to switch between commonly used shipping information.



You may have noticed that there is no pricing on the site. This is because Ballard Industrial's pricing is tailored specifically on a customer-to-customer basis. If you already have a commercial account with us then your web prices will reflect the prices you already pay. When ordering products from the site which you don't have a price for, just select "Quote" instead of "Sales Order" in the checkout form. A salesperson will get in touch shortly with details, and can then process your order from there.


Cant find what you're looking for?

We have a vast inventory at Ballard Industrial, and it will take some time to get it all online. We have started by including our top selling items; however, we will be continuously updating the products on our site. Tell us if you can't find your products in the web catalog and we will expedite our efforts to upload those items to our website.
